On September 18, 2025, Lynsey Nicole Stevens tragically passed away due to complications from a severe asthma attack, leaving our Green Valley community heartbroken. Lynsey was beloved by all who visited the Coyote Grill restaurant at San Ignacio Golf Club, cherished by coworkers and familiar patrons. As a devoted single mom, her passing has left her 10-year-old daughter, Marleigh, without her mother. Lynsey’s poignant story, featured in the Green Valley News and Sun (Saturday – Sunday October 4-5 edition - click on the link below to read the article), moved many hearts. Though she lost her life, she selflessly thought of and continued to give to others. As an organ donor, Lynsey’s heart and liver saved the life of another single mom from our own community. Now it is our turn to honor Lynsey’s legacy through community support by coming together to ensure Marleigh has a brighter future.  

OUR MISSION  

Our mission is to organize an annual golf event that will fund an educational account designed to benefit Marleigh, which she can access for college or trade school after graduating from high school.  

Please join us for a meaningful day on the green as this special event celebrates Lynsey’s legacy and unites the community in support of Marleigh and her future education. Participants, sponsors, and donors are invited to contribute to this educational fund, ensuring Marleigh has the resources she needs for her continued education while honoring Lynsey’s memory in a lasting way. It promises to be a memorable round of golf, featuring hole-in-one prizes on select holes, a longest drive competition, a closest to the pin competition, and other fun activities along the course! At the end of the round, we will have lunch, a 50/50 drawing, and exciting raffle prizes.
